The third HMS SLINGER

Built as a Landing Ship (Tank) and launched in 1945 as LST 3510. Renamed SLINGER in 1947; renamed EMPIRE KITTIWAKE in 1956 when she was transferred to the Ministry of Transport (MoT), managed by Atlantic S.N.Co. In 1961 MoT management transferred to British India S.N.Co. Scrapped Singapore 1969.
