SLINGER at sea 1944 - in this photo the censor has airbrushed out her pennant number.

SLINGER at anchor in Sydney, Australia, July 1945.. She is wearing her auxiliary pennant number A452 for her operations as a ferry carrier.

SLINGER alongside at Sydney in November 1945 preparing to sail for the UK. She has reverted to her original pennant number of (D)26. Upon her arrival in Australia she was allocated the pennant number R313 for operations as a replenishment carrier, then A452 for operations as a ferry carrier. before returning to to D26.
