from her modification at Chatham until she returned to the UK after the war.∞ Kindly supplied by Mr. David Yates, part of a collection of materials that belonged to his grandfather Able Seaman Herbert Wilkinson who Served on HMS SLINGER September 1944 to December1945.
Ω Kindly supplied by Mr. Keith Sutton, his father Gerald Sydney Sutton (Geoff) served on SLINGER between July 1943 & February 1946, he was also the Drummer in the Ships Dance band the Slingeroos.
# Mr. Robin Norwell whose Uncle Jack Norwell served as Torpedo Officer aboard SLINGER.
