This unit photo shows the members of the Naval Hovercraft Trials Unit at RNAS Lee-on-Solent in 1980. We are arranged alongside the navy’s BH7 (Wellington class) hovercraft, at the time of the photo I was a leading Naval Air Mechanic (AE) working on this craft.
