Help needed 1863 Fisgard (Creech)
« on: 17 October 2014 12:57:38 pm »

Hi
I am looking for some help please,  I am researching my family history and have managed to find and download a record for William Tomsey Creech b1849 Marylebone.  The record came from the national archives, there is very limited details on it from what i can see and work out William signed up in 1863 at the very tender age of 14, ship in which he entered looks to be Fisgard?,then in 1871 he is listed on the uk census as at sea on the Royal oak.  Unfortunately on the record I have downloaded there is no service history. At some point he emmigrated to Australia and I was hoping to see if any of this tied in with his service record.
Name    Creech, William Tomsey
Place of Birth:    St Mary, Marylebone, Middlesex
Continuous Service Number:    26805A
Date of Volunteering:    25 August 1867
Date of Birth:    25 August 1849,this is the lsiting on national archives, but on the first page of his record he joined up 26th August 1863.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Sharon.
