JMO:
My father traveled to France on the MTS 0r TSMV Dorsetshire.
I believe it set sail on 6 or 7th June 1944 and the troops disembarked on the 8th June 1944.
Does anyone have any knowledge about this? and what troops it carried - regiments etc etc?
I would appreciate some confirmation or otherwise.
