Qualification abbreviations

Hi

Is anyone able to help me with these please?
I am trying to decipher my father's service record.
In 44 it has (what looks like) LG in particulars
In 48 PFF (Ship)
49 Q.D.C (A)

He was acting radar plotter 3rd class in 44
RP3 in 45 and
RP2nd class in 48.

Would any of the abbreviations have any bearing on his trade?

The LG and PFF have baffled me, but the Q D C (A) should be something like:
Q = is Qualified

D C -  direction ? control or compiler ?

(A) - will be Aircraft

Thank you for your reply, I apologise for not thanking you sooner. I didn't realise I had any answers. I had requested (I thought) an email when one came through. I'm obviously not as adept at this lark as I thought.!!!!
