Help to identify a Cap Badge
« on: 26 October 2018 08:39:17 pm »

Hi All,

This is my first post on the forum so hopefully I have the correct topic area.

I am seeking some help with identifying a cap badge (image attached). I have looked online and noticed that the chain link that goes around the anchor runs clockwise whilst most that I see online run the other way. Also the crown is a peculiar (to me) shape to many you see online. I am hoping that someone can help me to identify that this beloinged to a Leading Stocker in WW2.

I believe that this person was on HMS Suffolk, a KENT-Class cruiser in WW2, as a Leading Stoker.

Thank you in anticipation

Dave

It’s a RN officers badge from 1952 onwards as it’s QE2 crown
