Title: Help needed interpreting P&V ledger entry
Post by: AAlmond on 10 June 2020 02:10:30 pm
Hello all, I have posted this question in the general discussions area but this seems like the more suitable area.

In am trying to find out what "Duty R2 BC" would mean on my grandfather's Payment and Victuals ledger means. It appears twice, once for a full year - September 1943 to September 1944. He had just spent 5 months on HMS Glengyle when she was involved in the landings at Sicily and Salerno before going to Bombay.

Clarification on this would be gratefully received as I have tried to research this for ages now with no luck.
