Title: Samuel Hicks RNVRS
Post by: dyffrynamancofio on 24 May 2016 12:40:41 pm
Hi all. I'm a History teacher in a school in West Wales. We are creating an exhibition about men from the school who fought during the First World War. One of the men, Samuel Hicks, was a member of the RNVRS and at Victory VI, Vivid III and Colossus.
I have bought document from the National Archives stating this and period of service etc but am unsure what 'list, number, rating' mean. Would anyone be willing to help with this please? I can upload the document if this helps? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.
