I came across this newspaper article in the Advertiser, Adelaide, South Australia during WW2. I live in Adelaide but was born in Birmingham England. It may be of interest in regard to Submarines in WW2.

Newspaper articles from the Advertiser (Adelaide, South Australia) in July 1944.

Article (6 July 1944) mentions that British subs sank 9 supply ships and damaged 2.

Article mentions that Lieutenant P. Roberts and Petty Officer T. O Gould both won Victoria Cross. British Submarine Thrasher, Lucky Thirteen.
