Not sure if this is the correct forum but I found this newsletter, dated August 1, 1942, among my late father's things and thought it may be of interest. My apologies for the low resolution, I had to get under the 1024Kb limit  :)

Hi Alan,

Thanks for posting this. This is the first item linked to HMS Haitan that I have seen.

For those not familiar with it, HMS Haitan was the naval base and air station on Addu Atoll in the Indian Ocean.
