Commonly known as 'Dazzle ships' due to the use of the camouflage paint designed by Norman Wilkinson, which intended to break-up the ships outline and confuse the enemy, particularly submarines.
I am seeking anyone with direct or family knowledge of such ships, the painting of, serving on, or any related matters.
Diaries, notebooks, documents, photographs or images all welcome.
Please note; I am only interested in Royal Navy/RFA, (ie, British ships), not the American equivalent known as Razzle Dazzle.
Any information would be appreciated. Please email me at pwauthor@mail.com
Thank you. Paul :)
