My father, Norman Lock, collected Souvenir packets of photo cards, maps and photo post cards during WW2. Being a Royal navy sailor in WW2 was obviously very dangerous at times but Norman did get to see parts of the USA, Canada and a lot of the world. As can be seen from all these items he collected in WW2.

I have had the original wide Naval Group photo scanned by a photo shop. They provided a smaller copy of the original. It has not been enhanced except that the two punch holes (Father's ring folder) have been removed, as if they were not there as far as I can see. The large copy they did was 6.15 MB. I had Two 14 inch by 6 inch copies printed from the large copy (The same size as the original size).

My father, Norman Lock, collected or kept a number of coins during his time in the Royal Navy in WW2. It is interesting from the point of view of the state of the world at that time and the British empire, as it is with the notes (Money) as well.

I have photos of some of them.

1. Ceylon. Emperor of India (That appears to cover Ceylon).

2. I guess the one may be Egypt, as Norman was in Egypt but I do not know what it is. India. Republic of China.

3. Australia. East Africa. South Africa.

4Newfoundland. Canada.

Photo of out side of letter to Norman on HMS Findhorn in WW2 from Louise Neales (I think it is Neales and not Meals) in Canada.

This photo of HMS Findhorn may be a Royal Navy issue photo or one that was printed in larger numbers because it has the words HMS Findhorn on the front of the photo. The photo was with my father's (Norman Lock) other WW2 navy photos.

Bridge speed communication device indicator was equipped with many warships.
Tokyo Keiki was a famous manufacture of them, and now manufanctures them for JMSDF.
