My maternal g/grandfather, Andrew Taylor Hunter, served in the Royal Navy in WW1. His vessels included, among others, the Queen Victoria, a converted Isle of Man paddle steamer. He enrolled on 30th December 1914, and was demobbed on 19th February 1919.
I'd love to find out more about his time in the Navy, but am having problems finding any more information online (probably not looking in the right places, being a bit of a novice at this).
Would be grateful for any advice/help
Linda
