I have recently been going through my father's records and have a picture postcard of Kolea, La Rue El-Souck, Algeria. Written on the reverse is "Dec: 42. Korlea nr Blida".

This would suggest that 813 Squadron was in North Africa in 1942.

The record above states...Detachment (6) operated here 10-13.11.1943... should this read 1942?
