<description><![CDATA[<p>The Gwen that Mr Dennison refers to sounds very much like my late mother. She worked in Derby before she joined the WRNS. Had dark brown hair like mine used to be. And curly hair like my sister. She was also in Sri Lanka/Ceylon at a similar time period and also based at HMS Anderson and was also a Wireless Telegraphist. Her billet was Kent House I believe.</p><p>Attached photo is where she was housed in Scarborough where she was trained before going abroad in.
