My father served on the Striker from day one until demobbed. His name was Thomas Mochon .history does repeat it self in a way ,when they docked in Williamstown in 1944 at Nelson Pier he would never know that 37 years later his last job as a bricklayer was bricklaying the new workshops at that dockyard at the end of Nelson Pier. And live in the next suburb over.

Hello Gwenda, I have two framed photos of HMS Striker, which were given to me by Graeme Morris from the Bright (Victoria)RSL. It is unknown where the photos came from. You can have the photos if you want them. I am the Commanding Officer of the local Australian Navy Cadet unit, Training Ship (TS) Albury and occasionally families denote Navy artifacts to me once their relative, usually an old sailor, has passed on. I was doing some research on Stiker and came across your message. Graeme Morris may be able to give you more information on striker or put you in contact with someone. You should be able to contact Graeme via the Bright RSL.
Regards Wayne
