Training Vessels at King Alfred WW2
« on: 30 January 2022 02:42:02 pm »

I am currently in process of acquiring a former requisitioned MY called "Warrior"
It served at King Alfred during WW2 based at Shoreham.
Sadly i have not been able to find any image of the boat on line or at any museum or group.

It was a 65 foot yacht with a rather grand Indian chief's figurehead on the bow whilst it was at Shoreham.

Sadly the only on line images of training vessels at Shoreham are not of Warrior

Any help or advice would be welcome

UPDATE   Sale of this vessel did not go ahead due to several structural problems with the boat found during the survey.

But now found another .. New post pending   Thanks
