The airfield lies on the N. shore of the Firth of Forth 2½ miles NE. of North Queensferry and the Forth Bridge. Inverkeithing lies 1½ miles WSW. with Rosyth Dockyard distant a further 1½ miles.
Dunfermline lies 4 miles WNW.

 

LANDMARKS

The Firth of Forth with Rosyth Dockyard and the Forth Bridge. Donibristle and Dalgety bays immediately S. of the airfield.

 

ROAD AND RAIL ACCESS

Main road passing the N. Boundary to Inverkeithing, 1¾ miles (R). Rosyth and Dunfermline, 4¾ miles (R). Loading platform at the W. end of the airfield which is served through a siding, by British Railways to Inverkeithing.
